In 2013, Steve Farbman was approached by his friend Tom Allon with an opportunity to invest in City & State. The two had worked together more than a decade earlier when Steve was CEO of News Communications, a publisher of 23 weekly newspapers and Tom was the publisher of its Manhattan-based properties. Previous to that Steve was chief operating officer at American Lawyer Media, where he spent more than 15 years managing a variety of properties, including newspapers, magazines, books, newsletters and live events. Since 2003, Steve has owned and serves as CEO of Touchpoint Media, a custom content and marketing agency serving clients ranging from Fortune 1000 companies to amateur sports associations.
Greg Salisbury is a Philadelphia native and a proud resident of West Philly.
