43,600 – The number of Pennsylvania residents who have died after testing positive for the coronavirus, as reported by the Pennsylvania Department of Health on March 7. There were 37 deaths on Feb. 22.
2,293,418 – Total number of confirmed positive tests for the coronavirus, as reported on March 7. There were 567 positive tests on March 6.
1,060 – The number of people hospitalized with the coronavirus on March 7. At the height of the second wave on Dec. 16, 2020, there were 6,346 people hospitalized with COVID-19.
191 – The number of patients in intensive care units on March 7. At the height of the second wave on Dec. 23, 2020, there were 1,263 people in intensive care units.
