Endorsement Tracker: The 2026 PA governor’s race

The stakes in Pennsylvania’s race for governor are high. As Gov. Josh Shapiro and state Treasurer Stacy Garrity travel the state to campaign and make their respective cases to voters, both parties have been clear about their goals for this year’s race: Democrats will need to hold onto the office in order to obtain a Democratic trifecta in the state Capitol, while Republicans, including President Donald Trump, want to flip the governor’s office into GOP control. 

Endorsements can give voters an idea of where a candidate stands on the issues, while providing a glimpse into the types of institutional and grassroots support a candidate has.
