Pennsylvania’s power players came out to King Mansion in Harrisburg on May 24 to celebrate the release of City & State’s 2022 Pennsylvania Power 100. The event featured a keynote address by Pennsylvania Treasurer Stacy Garrity, who reminded attendees that all power – whether it be in politics, business, or another sector – is given with the expectation it will be used for good. The event also included the much-anticipated Candy Forum, which offered an opportunity for lawmakers to share their opinions on which Pennsylvania-made candy should be immortalized in state law. The event also featured speeches from Nicholas Bertram, president of The GIANT Company, Kimberly Kockler, a senior vice president of government affairs at Independence Blue Cross, and Mary Oliveira, vice president of member growth and chief experience officer at the Pennsylvania Chamber of Business and Industry.
